For over 50 years, the Vratarich family has been selling tires and servicing cars on North Atherton Street.
In 1964, John Vratarich and his wife Joan relocated their family to State College and started the area's first Independent Tire Store.
Originally called J&J Tire Service, the business ran out of a single bay building recapping and selling tires.

With our "all-inclusive" pricing there are no additional charges for installation, wheel balancing, rubber valve stems or TPMS reset procedures.
We hand torque the lug nuts, recycle your old tires for you, and we provide you with free air pressure checks and tire rotations for the life of the tires.

The biggest difference between a winter tire and an all season tire is the tire compound.

All Season compounds get hard in cold weather negatively effecting the traction between the road and your tires.
