Manufacturers stand behind their products better than ever.
Toyota, for example, has an eight-year/100,000-mile warranty for hybrid battery repairs in most states.
In California, it's even a better warranty of 10 years or 150,000 miles.
So a hybrid battery should last at least eight to ten years!
But be aware that sadly when your vehicle is outside the warranty criteria, you're on your own.
