Williams Automotive & Transmission Repair has been family-owned and operated since opening in 1997 in LaGrange, GA. Owners Chanc and Barbara Williams treat every customer like family. What makes us different from other mechanic shops is that we always stand behind our work and never take advantage of our customers. We offer conveniently located, clean, same-day service on most repairs.

And we only fix a car once we've discussed what needs to be done with the customer. To make your auto repair visit as convenient and uplifting as possible, we offer local financing to those that qualify, and a free shuttle to and from your home in LaGrange, GA or surrounding areas. We also have the professional training and experience to ensure you get back on the road safely.

Owner Chanc Williams is an ASE Master Technician who is A/C Certified. While he has extensive training in Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ford, and Mazda repairs, he can work on all makes and models, and rebuild transmissions. With 20 years of experience in the automotive service industry, he guarantees your satisfaction on every repair.
Services
Chanc opened Williams Automotive & Transmission because he wanted to make a difference in the community and give customers dealership quality with a personal touch.
We wanted to provide customers with a reliable, high quality, and friendly auto repair experience.
All of our staff is well trained and loves automobiles.
We have a total of 50+ years servicing all vehicle makes and models, including experience at both dealerships and independent auto shops.
Here at Williams Automotive & Transmission, we love what we do because every day is different.
The best way to minimize more serious breakdowns and the higher costs associated with automotive repair is by doing routine maintenance.
Preventive vehicle maintenance is simply what the manufacturer of your vehicle suggests getting done to keep your vehicle going.
Whether you have a car or truck we provide the maintenance services to keep it running well.
Brakes wear out over time requiring service.
How long your brakes last is based on various things such as driving conditions, how you brake and other factors.
Unless your vehicle requires premium gasoline, filling up your car with high-octane gas is a waste of money.
The premium gas doesn't boost your gas mileage or performance.
If you're not sure what grade works best for your vehicle, your owner's manual will tell you.
You can also ask your mechanic what grade to use.
Using regular gasoline over high-octane gasoline could save you hundreds of dollars a year.
Don't top off when filling your car's gas tank.
Any additional gas is just going to slop around or seep out.
