Bob and Russ bought Carlton Auto Repair in May of 1990, both having worked at a shop in Wheaton and wanting to have more control over their lives and the way their customers were treated.
Carlton Auto Repair had been started in 1976 by a semi-retired Buick technician, just looking to keep himself busy and with an emphases on quality, work quickly grew.
There were other owner/managers in the few years after he retired, some good, some not so much so.
We took over the business after it had suffered from poor management and lack of skill, but were able to turn the place back around with hard work and an eye to high quality work and parts.
