From the Autozone Auto Parts store travel west for approximately one block. You will see our sign on your left. Enter the alley before or after our sign or the alley off of Eastern Avenue. Larry Carter's Auto Repair is a locally owned auto repair shop in Brownsburg, Indiana and has been located on Main Street for over 20 years with over 50 years of experience.
Larry started his career as a mechanic in independent shops and new car dealerships; later as Director of Education for Sun Electric Corporation followed by his own school system where he taught over 1400 professional mechanics "Advanced Diagnostics". When the decision was made to have the SAE test for mechanic certification, Larry was commissioned by Eltra Corporation, a subsidiary of Westinghouse Corporation, to write the Tune Up/Diagnostic portion of the test.
Sometimes when asked if he could pass that test, his answer was "I wrote it"!
