West Coast Muffler & Auto Repair is family-owned and operated by Mike and Kristy Newell.
Mike has worked in the auto repair industry for over 30 years, starting with his first job at a Shell gas station when he was 16, pumping gas, mounting tires, and changing oil.
From there, at the age of 19, he went to an undercar repair shop where he expanded his skills to brake repair, alignments, mufflers, frontend work, and steering repairs.
After 11 years of working for other shops, Mike had the opportunity to open his own auto repair shop in Ukiah in April of 2000, and his family has been serving the community ever since.
