We were on the road, far from home and began hearing a rhytmic crunching noise coming from the rear wheel. Sounded serious, so we consulted auto repair shops in Nokomis. We settled on JB Auto Works after reading the reviews and we're not disappointed. Jim was polite and courteous, assessed our situation and gave us what appeared to be an honest estimate of our problem.
The price was fair and we left his very tidy shop with peace of mind. The work was done in what we considered to be excellent time. Our only regret is that he is not close enough to be our regular mechanic. My GF took her vehicle to two other "tire places" to address a loud cabin noise. She was told it was the front bearings in the wheel hub and the prices averaged 1300$.and it wouldn't be able to be done for days.
Called JB not knowing anything about them and he said he could do it in a day and wasn't even half that amount. Quality work at a very fair price. Jim was very helpful and kind and I dropped off my vehicle over the weekend and diagnosed the problem quickly.
