Steve Pagano opened Steve's Truck Stop in June of 1953 as a two-bay truck repair shop serving the Silver Creek area, as well as drivers passing through Chautauqua County, NY. Prior to starting his own business, Steve was a truck driver and then worked as a millwright for Ford.
However, he had grown increasingly dissatisfied with factory work and decided he could do better for himself and his family with his own truck service shop.
