At some point in your life you've probably had a bad experience with an auto repair service. It's sad, but most of us have experienced it. Since most people don't know a lot about car repairs I guess that makes it easy for other shops to take advantage of people. The good news is that you do have a choice. A good repair shop knows that the most important part of their business is loyal, repeat customers.

Our goal is to provide you with such great service that you become one of our many loyal customers. As a customer you deserve great service at a fair price. You don't want to wonder if the auto repair shop is charging you for work you don't really need. You don't want to feel like they're just guessing at what's wrong with your vehicle. You don't want to be quoted one price and charged another for "unexpected repairs".

Is it possible that they may find something that wasn't expected? Yes, once in a while it does happen. However a good auto service center should be able to give you an accurate account of what to expect.
Services
A lot of people ask how often they should get their brakes checked.
To answer this you must first understand that it really depends on how you drive the vehicle.
If you are the type of driver that rides the brake peddle then you are going to need your brakes checked a lot more often then someone that doesn't ride their brakes.
Most cars today have sensors on the pads and when they wear down to a certain point they will start to squeak.
This is when you need to bring your vehicle in so we can take a look at your brakes.
When your check engine light comes on it's always when you least expect it.
It seems to happen when you are either in a hurry or when you are on your way to having a great weekend at the beach.
Either way there is no need to panic, pull over to the side of the road and call a tow truck.
It does mean that something is going on and needs to be checked.
But there is no need to panic.
There are many reasons why a check engine light may come on so don't wait too long before you get it checked out.
And please don't ignore it because it could cost you in the long run.
You not only get an oil change, which is "preventive maintenance", but you also get an inspection on your belts, hoses, fluids, windshield wipers and tires to make sure your car is safe and sound before you pull away.
Do you really want someone to say that you'll be in and out in 10 minutes when oil changes are one of the most important auto maintenance jobs you can do for your car?
Come in and see for yourself why so many people trust Forest Hill Car Care with their cars and trucks.
We are not just talking about a vehicle, we are talking about protecting you and your family.
Everyone that owns a vehicle goes though the same drama when it comes to getting their service work done.
First thing that goes through your head is "who can I trust and where should I go?"
You know the dealer costs more but you really don't know anybody else to turn to so you start asking your friends for advice.
Your car should receive a tune-up every 2 years or 30,000 miles, whichever comes first.
If you have a manufacturer's schedule for your vehicle maintenance you should stick to it unless your car is not running well.
Forest Hill Car Care would like to thank Colleen and Pat for taking the time to post a review.
You deserve to have good customer care when you have you car serviced.
I've been a loyal customer since 1971 with Dave and Bob.
I have followed them to several different facilities because of their honesty and good service.
Never needed to get an estimate for my repairs because they always do the right thing at the right price.
