His father owned a Sprint Car racing auto repair shop (see some fun pics on our media page).
Brian also loved racing and did pretty well on the racing circuit.
He knew from a young age that he had a knack for cars and started working in his Dad's shop when he was 15.
He soon outpaced his Dad on the rapidly advancing vehicle technology, and learned he could "talk to cars" with new technology like high end scanners and lab scopes.
