I brought my Bug in to have the breaks fixed and asked them to check the car out.
When they went over the car they noticed the manifold was messed up, a prior owner had used epoxy on a crack and it didn't work.
They sent me pictures of the crack and the breaks prior to doing the work so I could see they were bad and needed to be repaired.
When I got there to pick the car up they had the bad parts to show me which I thought was awesome, it takes away the "was it really broke or did I getting taken advantage of" question.
