Whether your British sports car is coming out of the barn for restoration or needs attention to keep on rolling, the British car specialists at Glenn's MG Repair should be on your mind. We are a full-service repair facility dedicated to helping enthusiasts maintain the breed and keeping your British car in top shape. Daily driver or fully-restored show car.

Even though we started out working on MGs, today we service a variety of sports cars including Austin-Healey, Mini, Triumph, Morgan, Jaguar and other British marques. We also provide care for modern daily drivers as well. In 1974 my MGB roadster came off the line in Coventry, England, destined for the U. S. A. Fast forward 41 years and its engine was ready for a rebuild.

Who could I trust to do the job right? A call to a good friend led me to Glenn's MG and British Car Repair. Glenn knows these iconic British cars like Bruce Lee knows Kung Fu; my car runs like it did when it came off the line all those years ago, in fact, it runs better with a few carefully selected upgrades.

Glenn Lenhard began working in the automotive industry in 1973, shortly after graduating from Olympia High School in Rochester, New York.
He has worked at independent automotive repair shops and larger dealers in the Rochester and St. Petersburg Florida regions.
In 1979 he opened Bay Imports in St. Petersburg and continued that business until 1991.
While working at Bay Imports Glenn lamented to a friend and owner of the successful MG repair outfit, University Motors that he wished he could specialize in the MG repairs.
Our facility was originally built in 1985 as a space to detail vehicles for sale at the 3445 Car Store.
When we moved into the property in 1999, we found a photo of an early MGB sitting in front of the building!
You could say that our building has been involved in giving British classics a new lease on life from the start.
Now equipped with six lifts and enough interior space to shelter seventeen vehicles on the occasional rainy Florida day, our shop provides a versatile space for our team to complete restorations and repairs that stray from the ordinary.
At Glenn's, we don't know what will present itself on our doorstep each morning, be it an MGB, Jensen Interceptor or one-off custom-built piece of racing history.
That's why we love coming to work every day.
Here are some of the exceptional and unique restorations that have inspired our team of experienced craftsmen and mechanics.
This MG 1100 came to us in need of a cosmetic restoration, as well as some mechanical freshening.
After a full strip-down and respray, we completely restored the interior.
Each of these clubs include a variety of activities as incentive to keep your car running.
Members have multiple chances to drive and enjoy themselves with events guaranteed to draw everyone's interest.
Although there are many "dual" members in these clubs, we have been known to combine our activities on occasion.
One of our favorite parts of owning any British car is the people.
Whether your at a show or on the road, the cars give folks a great outlet to connect and share stories.
As long as we are given any excuse to keep that MG or British sports car running, and keep it running, there will be great British car clubs like these!
